UpLead pricing and UpLead cost per month on every plan, down to the real cost per contact

UpLead prints its prices: $99 or $199 a month, or $74 and $149 billed annually. What decides the bill is lower on the page. Each plan is one user, and a credit is only cheap if you use all of them.

The short answer

UpLead pricing is published for one user. Essentials is $99 a month with 170 credits and Plus is $199 with 400, or $74 and $149 a month billed annually. Professional, the only plan with more than one seat, is annual and quoted. One credit unlocks one contact with both the email and the mobile number.

At full use a contact costs between 37 and 58 cents, depending on plan and billing. At half use it costs twice that, because the price is fixed and the credits are not. The table further down shows the cost per contact at 50, 100, 170 and 400 contacts a month.

Essentials

Verified emails, mobile direct dials, the Chrome extension and CRM integrations including Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and Dynamics 365. The annual version adds company news.

Plus

Everything in Essentials, plus data enrichment, email pattern intel, technographics across 16,000 technologies, advanced filters and suppression list uploads.

Professional

Buyer intent data, all search filters, full API access, bi-directional CRM sync, competitor intelligence, team management, a success manager and priority phone support.

How UpLead pricing works, one credit, one contact, one user

Three rules on UpLead's page decide what you actually pay. None of them is in the headline figure.

One credit is a whole contact

A credit unlocks the verified email and the mobile direct dial together. That is simpler than Lusha, which charges five credits for a phone number, and it makes a month easy to forecast.

One plan is one person

Free, Essentials and Plus are single user accounts. Seat management lives only on Professional, which is annual billing only and has no printed price.

Extra credits cost more than the plan

Top ups are $0.60 a credit on Essentials and $0.50 on Plus. Plus at full use already costs $0.50 a contact, so buying more on Essentials is the expensive way to grow.

The annual discount is 25% on both plans. Twelve monthly Essentials payments come to $1,188 against $888 a year, and Plus to $2,388 against $1,788. When we read the page, a banner above the navigation also offered 40% off annual plans through the chat. That offer is not printed on the plan cards, so get it in writing on the order form if you are told about it.

Two things the page does not say: whether unused monthly credits carry into the next month, and whether the annual allowance arrives at once or in monthly slices. Both change the real price for a team with uneven months. Ask UpLead before you pick annual billing, and keep the answer.

UpLead cost per contact at the volume you really use

The plan price divided by the contacts actually unlocked in a month. Rounded to the cent. The published figure assumes you use every credit. Most single seat users do not.

UpLead cost per unlocked contact at four monthly volumes, on Essentials and Plus, monthly and annual billing
Contacts unlocked Essentials, monthly ($99) Plus, monthly ($199) Essentials, annual ($74) Plus, annual ($149)
50 contacts a month $1.98 $3.98 $1.48 $2.98
100 contacts a month $0.99 $1.99 $0.74 $1.49
170 contacts a month $0.58 $1.17 $0.44 $0.88
400 contacts a month $0.59, with 230 top up credits $0.50 Over the allowance $0.37

Read the first row. A rep who unlocks 50 contacts a month on monthly Plus pays close to $4 a contact, which is more than most per contact prices in this category. Plus only beats Essentials once you pass about 340 contacts a month.

For comparison on the same basis, RocketReach Pro billed annually is about 17 cents an exported contact at full use, and Lusha charges six credits for a contact with email and phone. That arithmetic is on rocketreach pricing and lusha pricing. The cheapest per contact figure printed in this group is Lead411 Spark, $49 a month for 1,000 exports with phone numbers included, under 5 cents a contact if you use them all. It is one login, though, and the arithmetic for a second rep is on lead411 pricing.

Which UpLead plan to buy, by how many contacts you unlock

Export last quarter's unlocks per person and divide by three. That monthly number picks the plan more reliably than the feature list.

Under 100 contacts a month

Essentials on monthly billing, and question the purchase. At that volume a contact costs a dollar or more, and a cheaper lookup tool may do the same job.

100 to 170 a month, every month

Essentials annual at $888 a year. The 25% saving is real only if the usage is steady, because you pay for the year up front.

170 to 340 a month

Still Essentials, with $0.60 top ups, unless you need enrichment, technographics or suppression lists. Those features, not the credits, are the reason to pay for Plus here.

Over 340 a month

Plus. Monthly at $199 if the volume swings, annual at $1,788 if it does not. At 400 a month an annual Plus contact costs 37 cents.

Two or more people

Professional, on an annual quote. Ask for the price per seat and the price per credit in writing and compare both against the table above.

Account executive reviewing a short list of target accounts next to a laptop

A credit buys the address. It does not buy the reason to write.

An UpLead unlock gives you a verified email and a mobile number. It does not tell you what changed at the account this quarter or write the first line, and for most reps that is where the week goes.

UpLead knows this too. Its pricing page sells a separate done for you cold email service, where it builds the list and writes and sends the campaigns. That is an agency model with no printed price, and what agencies usually charge is on sdr outsourcing.

If the job is finding people

You sell into titles across a wide market and need new contacts every week. UpLead is priced sensibly for that, and the question is only which plan your volume fills.

If the job is writing to people you have

Your accounts come from the CRM, partners or events. The cost is the twenty minutes of reading behind each first message, and more credits will not shorten it.

What Saleswoman does

It reads the prospect's own site and public sources, writes the sequence, cites a source for each factual claim and holds any sentence it cannot back up. It has no contact database, so heavy prospectors keep a data tool alongside it.

UpLead against the alternatives, on their published prices

Seven options. The figure column holds only what each vendor prints on its own site. Where a vendor prints nothing, this table prints nothing.

Figures come from each vendor's own public pricing page, read directly. Software pricing changes, so confirm before you sign. Which one suits which team is worked through in the guide to the uplead alternative options, and the vendors that print no figure are covered on zoominfo pricing.

When UpLead is the right buy

Said plainly, because a pricing page that never finds for the vendor is an advert.

You call as much as you email

The mobile direct dial comes inside the same credit as the email. For a rep who dials, that is cheaper per complete contact than a meter that charges a phone number five times.

You want to forecast in contacts

One credit, one contact is the easiest unit in this market to budget. A manager can approve 170 or 400 contacts a month without reading a credit table.

You want no contract

Monthly Essentials and Plus carry no long term commitment, and you can move between them under Subscription. A campaign that ends does not leave a year of payments behind it.

Your CRM needs clean imports

Suppression list uploads on Plus keep you from paying twice for contacts already in the CRM, and exports go straight into Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and a long list of other tools.

If the real comparison is software against software

Some teams pricing a data tool are really choosing an AI SDR. Every AI SDR vendor that prints a number is on ai sdr pricing, and what our plans include is on pricing.

Questions buyers ask about UpLead pricing

How much does UpLead cost?
UpLead costs $99 a month for Essentials with 170 credits and $199 a month for Plus with 400 credits on monthly billing. Billed annually the same plans are $74 and $149 a month, which is $888 and $1,788 a year. Professional, the team plan, is annual only and quoted after a demo. A 7 day trial gives 5 credits.
How much does UpLead cost per month?
On monthly billing UpLead is $99 for Essentials and $199 for Plus, each for one user, with no contract. The $74 and $149 figures you also see on the page are annual plans shown per month and billed once a year. Extra credits cost $0.60 each on Essentials and $0.50 on Plus.
How do UpLead credits work?
One UpLead credit unlocks one contact for download or CRM export, and gives you both the verified email and the mobile direct dial. There is no separate charge for a phone number. Essentials includes 170 credits a month and Plus 400. UpLead's pricing page does not say whether unused credits carry into the next month, so ask before you size a plan.
Can more than one person use an UpLead account?
Not on the self serve plans. UpLead's pricing page says Free, Essentials and Plus are single user accounts, and that Professional is the team account with seat management. Professional is sold on annual billing only and has no published price, so a second rep moves you from a card payment to a sales conversation.
Is UpLead worth it?
UpLead is worth it for one person who unlocks close to the full allowance every month and needs mobile numbers, because a whole contact costs 37 to 58 cents at full use. It is poor value at low usage: a rep who unlocks 50 contacts a month on monthly Plus pays about $4 a contact. Count last quarter's exports first.
Is UpLead cheaper than ZoomInfo?
On what can be compared, yes for a single user: UpLead prints $74 to $199 a month and ZoomInfo publishes no dollar figure at all, pricing each contract by consumption credits, team size, features and term. For a team, UpLead Professional is also quoted, so the only fair test is two written quotes for the same seats and volume.
Does UpLead have a contract?
The monthly Essentials and Plus plans have no contract or long term commitment, according to UpLead's own FAQ, and you can upgrade or downgrade under Subscription at any time. The annual plans are paid for the year, and Professional is annual billing only. Read the renewal terms on any annual order form before signing.
What is the cheapest alternative to UpLead?
For one person, RocketReach Essentials at $39 a month or $229 a year is cheaper on list price, and RocketReach Pro includes phone numbers from $79 a month. For email only, Lusha Starter is $49.90 a month. If the time goes into researching and writing to accounts you already have, a flat AI SDR such as Saleswoman at $149 a month is the other route.

The guide on this

UpLead prints its prices, so teams rarely leave over the list rate. They leave because a second rep joined, because the credits go unused, or because the data was never the bottleneck. Which UpLead competitor fits each case, on what each one publishes.
