RB2B pricing and RB2B API pricing, plan by plan and per resolution, with the coverage each plan buys
RB2B pricing runs from a free company level plan to Starter at $79 a month, Pro at $149 to $349 and Pro+ at $199 to $849, priced by how many visitors it names each month. The RB2B API has no public price. What decides the real cost is coverage, overage and what happens to each name after it lands in Slack.

The short answer
RB2B prints every price, which is rare in visitor identification. Most US sales teams land on Pro, $149 a month for 600 named visitors with business emails and a CRM sync.
Starter at $79 is cheaper on paper but sends LinkedIn profiles without emails, and its 45 cent overage makes Pro the cheaper plan once you pass about 455 resolutions a month. Pro+ is the plan for higher traffic, and it is the only one RB2B says names 35 to 45% of visitors rather than 15 to 20%.

What one named visitor costs on each RB2B tier
Divide each monthly price by its allowance and the unit cost falls from about 25 cents on Pro's first tier to under 7 cents on Pro+ at 12,500. That only holds if you use the allowance. Unused resolutions do not roll over in anything RB2B prints, so a 2,500 tier on a site that produces 900 names a month costs 39 cents a name, not 14.
Above 12,500 resolutions RB2B's FAQ says Pro+ is priced by its team. The selector on the page still lists $949 for 20,000 and $1,149 for 25,000, so treat those as a starting point for that conversation.
| Plan | Resolutions a month | Price a month | Per resolution |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 300 | $79 | $0.26 |
| Pro | 600 | $149 | $0.25 |
| Pro | 1,250 | $249 | $0.20 |
| Pro | 2,500 | $349 | $0.14 |
| Pro+ | 600 | $199 | $0.332 |
| Pro+ | 1,250 | $299 | $0.239 |
| Pro+ | 2,500 | $399 | $0.160 |
| Pro+ | 5,000 | $499 | $0.100 |
| Pro+ | 7,500 | $649 | $0.087 |
| Pro+ | 10,000 | $799 | $0.080 |
| Pro+ | 12,500 | $849 | $0.068 |

The overage points where the next RB2B plan is cheaper
Overage is where most RB2B bills drift. Three crossover points worth knowing before you pick a tier.
-
01
Starter past about 455 a month
At 45 cents each, 155 extra resolutions add $70 and Starter costs the same as Pro's $149. Past that point Pro is cheaper and also gives you the emails Starter leaves out.
-
02
Pro 600 past about 1,000 a month
At 25 cents each, 400 extra resolutions add $100 and you are paying the $249 of the 1,250 tier for fewer names. Move up before the month, not after the invoice.
-
03
Pro 2,500 when coverage matters
Pro+ at 2,500 is $399, only $50 more than Pro, and RB2B states roughly double the coverage. If your traffic can fill it, the extra $50 buys more of the visitors you are already paying to track.
Size the plan from your traffic, not from the slider
RB2B states its own coverage: 15 to 20% of visitors named on Starter and Pro, 35 to 45% on Pro+, and people only for US traffic. So the honest way to pick a tier is to start from unique US visitors a month.
A site with 5,000 unique US visitors would get roughly 750 to 1,000 names a month on Pro by those rates, which fits the $249 tier. The same site on Pro+ would get roughly 1,750 to 2,250, which fits the $399 tier. Run the seven day trial on your real traffic and pick the tier from what it actually names.
RB2B API pricing and where the API actually lives
The pricing page has no API line. The "RB2B API's" link in RB2B's footer goes to the enrichment API suite of Retention.com, the group RB2B is part of. That page lists calls that resolve an IP address and user agent to hashed emails or a business profile, and calls that turn a work email or LinkedIn URL into a profile. It prints no price and asks you to book a call.
Most teams do not need it. Pro and Pro+ already push every resolution out through a webhook, Zapier, Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce or a CSV export, which covers getting names into your own systems. The API is for building identification into a product of your own, and that is a sales conversation.
RB2B names the visitor. Someone still has to write.
The weak step is rarely identification. A rep opens Slack, sees twenty names from the pricing page and sends each one the same template with the company swapped in. Those emails read like what they are, and the $349 a month turns into names nobody answers.
Saleswoman does the part after the name. It reads each account's own site and public sources, writes the sequence, cites a source for every factual claim and holds any sentence it cannot back up. It has no visitor identification and no contact data, so it sits next to RB2B rather than replacing it, and syncs with HubSpot and Pipedrive on every plan.

When RB2B is the right buy
Said plainly, because a pricing page that never finds for the vendor is an advert.
Your buyers are in the US
Person level identification is US only. For a team selling to US companies that limit costs nothing.
You want to start this week
A script on the site, a Slack channel and a seven day trial. No contract, no annual floor, no sales call below 12,500 resolutions.
Pricing page visits are your best signal
Hot Pages tags the visits that matter, so the names that reach a rep are the ones worth writing to first.
You already have a CRM and a sequencer
Pro pushes straight into HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay or Apollo, so it adds a source without adding a platform.
If you need intent beyond your own site
Research intent from across the web is a different product, priced on Bombora pricing, and contact databases that publish their plans are compared on prospecting tools.

The guide on this
RB2B is one of the cheapest ways to name website visitors, so people rarely leave it over price. They leave because their buyers are not in the US, because they wanted company level reporting for marketing, or because named visitors still got a template. Which RB2B competitor fits each case, on what each one publishes.
